Am off to run the First Saaletal Marathon in the morning. Because of the myriad of other things going on in life I've not trained as much as I would have liked to before going into something like this. Oh well... As the old saying goes. I'm going to attempt to race to the finish not from the start....

Punxsutawney Phil was Right!

OK... 2 February has come and gone and guess what, Phil saw his shadow and quickly disappeared back into his burrow. And as it turned out - he was right!

Getting up this morning you would have thought that instead of being 6 March, it was 20 January. Overnight we got about 6 inches (15.2cm) of snow. It snowed off and on throughout the day today. We took off for our late afternoon run in a snow shower with temperatures around 28F (-2C). Brrrrrrrr...

All good... Summer will be here soon enough! Right.....
